In 1997 Darin and Karys Morgan began talking about the idea of moving to Panama to start a Bed and Breakfast.  The idea was to generate some passive income doing something that we love, entertaining guests.  It’s been an interesting journey, but in July, 2012 we moved into a home where our dream will become a reality.

The house is in Coronado, Panama just 1 Kilometer from the Pacific Ocean beach.  It has a big yard with well-manicured gardens, pool, Jacuzzi and a large bohio for outdoor entertaining.  We have 4 bedrooms for rent, 3 of them have a king sized bed and the fourth is a kids room filled with two sets of bunk beds and a twin bed.  We are a family friendly B&B and we hope families with children will come to visit.

If you’ve ever thought about retirement in the tropics, come to visit us and we can tell you how living in Panama could fulfill your dream.  There are a lot of lifestyle options for a retiree in Panama.  City/Condo living, Beach front Condo living, beach homes, mountain homes, beach homes with mountain views and mountain homes with beach views!  Come to see us and we’ll be happy to show you around.

There are plenty of opportunities for day trips from our home.  Panama City is a one hour drive, so sites like the Canal, The Causeway Islands, Casco Viejo and Panama Viejo are popular day trips.  El Valle, Gamboa Rain Forest, Campana National Park are all within easy driving distance.  Of course a day at the beach or simply lounging around the pool and the yard are also options.
